Cafe Linnea

No fluff. No fuss.

This is a group for women who are interested in coming together under the banner of being women in business, and not having to “femininize” your position in the business world. (Nothing against those who are into that, you’re welcome to attend these events too, it’s just not everyone’s jam). The event will still be super fun, you just don’t have to worry about walking in under any label pretenses. =)

One participant per month will present on a different subject in relation to business and participants will have the opportunity to create a group challenge (similar to a mastermind).

This month’s speaker will be the event organizer: Katie Robertson, President and CEO of Grapevine Communications and founder of Wild Women Empowered. The subject will be about the vision for this group, and a challenge on how we will empower each other and others in business.

10:00 am – Arrive/Mingle/Sit/Order Food

10:30 am – Presentation and Challenge Discussion

11:00 am – Networking

11:30 am – End

The rest is up to you! Show up, bring your business cards, meet and mingle with other women in business who mean business, and empower each other for greater success and growth.

Cost: $15 (plus the cost of your breakfast) – All proceeds from any event will go towards future programming for Wild Women Empowered, including events like these.

Photo package: If you would like to have a professional headshot taken at the event, Kristan Zabos of Kristan Zabos photography will be available to take photos throughout the event (except during the speaking part). The cost of the photo will be $25 and must be purchased ahead of time. Plus, you save $5 off the regular rate of entry.

Registration is on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/we-mean-business-women-in-business-breakfast-networking-event-tickets-50926840551

All of our events will be held in women-owned venues. If you or someone you know has a venue, or to put your name forward as a speaker at a future event, please contact Katie at [email protected]

A note about inclusivity and respect: While this is geared towards women, we will welcome all gender identities. We are also LGBTQ+ friendly, welcome all ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and religious beliefs. There will be zero tolerance for disrespect, bullying, and non-inclusive behavior. This is a group for empowering each other. Thank you.
